Dr.
Liu received his training in Pediatric Epilepsy and Neurophysiology at Boston Children's Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital
and Miami Children's Hospital and is currently the Director of the Pediatric EEG Lab at Palms West Hospital. He has written
numerous research abstracts and articles about Pediatric Epilepsy and has co-authored a chapter entitled "Epilepsy Surgery
and Developmental Disabilities".
The Epilepsy Center employs state of the art diagnostics including digital EEG and
video EEG equipment. We are also proud to be the first Pediatric Epilepsy center in South Florida to offer 24 hour ambulatory
video EEG testing which can be done from home instead of having to stay overnight in the hospital. We are experienced in all
aspects of epilepsy treatment from medications to the vagal nerve stimulator, the ketogenic diet and epilepsy surgery. We
also offer the most up to date medications through our clinical research program.
